Stanyl Helps Make Airbus A380 the Quietest Aircraft

Stanyl,a material developed by DSM Engineering Plastics,has helped create Airbus A380,the world's largest plane,into one of the quietest ever built.Extensive testing on similar materials proved that Stanyl had the right balance between weight [SMI] and strength required for the infill panels on the Trent 900 engine.DSM's Stanyl remains stiff at high temperatures.
