摘要

The origin of the enormous catalytic activity of enzymes containing coenzyme B_(12) as a cofactor continues to be of significant interest in bioinorganic chemistry.During enzymatic catalysis,the Co-C bond of coenzyme B_(12) is cleaved homolytically,which leads to the formation (at least formally) of the 5'-deoxyadenosyl radical and cob(II)alamin.
