摘要

Non-heme iron-catalyzed oxidation of hydrocarbons has attracted considerable attention in the last decade.Mononuclear Fe~(III)-peroxide and-hydroperoxide species are believed to be involved in biological oxygen activation in systems such as those which involve the heme iron enzyme cytochrome P450,the non-heme iron antitumor drug bleomycin,and the non-heme Rieske dioxygenases.
