摘要

The revelation of performance characteristics and energy conversion of T-CAES system considering design/off-design condition is important to improve system's thermodynamic performance. In this research, comprehensive off-design model of T-CAES system considering the operation of units under off-design condition is established. Design/off-design performance analysis and comparison of two different storage modes for T-CAES system have been investigated. All external factors, including ambient pressure and temperature, compressors input power and turbine output power, are considered in system's off-design performance analysis. Work efficiency eta(w), round trip performance coefficient RTPC and exergy efficiency eta(ex) of T-CAES system in Mode 2 under design condition are 0.532, 1.095 and 0.659, respectively. which are 2.9%, 5.6% and 4.1% higher than that in Mode 1. The results show that the external factors have great influence on the performance of T-CAES system in both modes. This study can provide theoretical basis for actual design, operation and control of T-CAES system.
