Materials of nanosize or bearing nanoscale features represent a significant class of substance that have the potential for advanced applications because of their superior chemical and physical properties.The preparation and characterization of such substances is,therefore,of interest not only from a scientific viewpoint but because of their possible uses in such diverse fields as catalysis and microelectronics.
