AIM to buy Roth Steel property in NY

American Iron & Metal Co. Inc. (AIM) has agreed to buy the former Roth Steel Corp. now that Upstate Shredding LLC-Ben Weitsman & Son Inc. has taken its offer for the property of the table, Roth Steel said in a bankruptcy court fining. Montreal-based AIM will acquire the 23.9- acre property in Syracuse, N.Y., for $687,500, which includes a $62,500 buyer’s premium— identical to Weitsman’s offer, according to the fining in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in northern New York.
