Secondary aluminum prices are showing some stability this week as consumers hold bids steady to assess inbound flows, with some dealers reluctant to sell at current levels. AMM’s assessment was unchanged at 59 to 61 cents per pound for mixed low-copper clips and 57 to 59 cents for old sheet. “We’re holding prices, but if we buy much we’ll probably drop a little,” one consumer source said, adding that inbound flows are “so-so ... typical for June.”
