Winter 2018-2019 forward prices at the Henry Hub this weekclimbed to their highest since mid-June as US gas traders begin totake notice of this year’s looming storage deficit.On Tuesday, the winter strip was assessed at an average $3.158/MMBtu, S&P Global Platts M2MS data shows. Renewed upwardmomentum came Thursday, with the NYMEX winter gas contractsgaining about 5 to 7 cents each, pushing January futures into thelow $3.20s/MMBtu.
