As June moved into the front month Thursday, the US overthe-counter thermal coal market continued to be active, and for thefirst time since January, a physical Central Appalachia rail (CSX) 12,500Btu/lb coal trade was heard.The deal was heard at $55.50/st for two 11,000-st trains for Maydelivery, the lowest price paid for a train since $54.75/st on August 2, 2017.
