Activity subdued in the OTC thermal coal market, natural gas settles at new low

Indications of value continued to be heard in the US over- the-counter thermal coal market for the three major basins, but no bids, offers or trades were reported. The OTC market has largely been quiet the past month, with few spot trades heard, along with other activity. A very mild winter continues to drive natural gas prices down, helping drive the weak demand for coal at utilities.
