Houston—US petcoke prices remained relatively flat week on week with little spot activity and demand dropping to match the tight supply. “Supply is dismal,” a US-based source said. “But I really get the impression demand is going to fall off now.” However, demand still outpaces supply, he said. Demand is expected to drop a bit and even out with available supply, keeping prices flat for the near-term, sources said.
