No bids, offers or trades were reported June 3 in the US over-the-thermal coal market, but prompt-month Powder River Basin coal ticked lower on the day. S&P Global Platts assessed Powder River Basin 8,800 Btu/lb coal for July delivery at $12.05/st on June 3, down 5 cents on the day, based on indications of value at $11.90/st and $12.15/st, tested in the market through 2:30 pm ET.
