NAPP export coal interest continues; domestic market sees no bids, offers, trades

Interest in Northern Appalachian export coal was heard again Friday in the US over-the-counter thermal coal market, while activity in the domestic market remained thin. A bid for 125,000 mt was reported at $57/st for FOB Baltimore 6,900 kcal/kg for May delivery, up $1/mt compared with a similar bid heard Thursday and up $2/mt from the last reported FOB Baltimore 6,900 kcal/kg trade in early April.
