Houston—Two coal-laden ships departed from Baltimore in the week ended Aug. 16, down from seven from a week earlier, according to cFlow, Platts’ trade flow software. The total dead-weight tonnage of the departures was 211,206 dwt, down from 383,601 dwt in the prior week, according to the data. One coal carrier is headed to Point Lisas, Trinidad and Tobago, and is expected to arrive on Aug. 16, while the other ship is estimated to reach Montreal on Aug. 21.
