Number of laden coal carriers departing us ports falls by two on week to 18: cFlow

The number of US coal carrier departures totaled 18 in the week that ended June 15, down two ships from the previous week, data from cFlow, Platts’ trade flow software, showed. According to the cFlow data, 13 of the ships were laden with coal, while five were only partly laden. Altogether, the ships were carrying 727,530 dwt, compared with the 1.2 million dwt shipped in the prior week.
