End-users return, delivered met coal to China gains on fresh trades

Delivered Asia metallurgical coal prices to China saw a slight recovery with fresh trades done Tuesday. In China, two trades were done Tuesday. An 85,000-mt of Premium Mid Vol (PMV) Goonyella was done at $190/mt CFR China with February laycan. This came with seller’s option to deliver Peak Downs North at $190/ mt CFR China or Riverside at $189/mt CFR China. Another trade was for 85,000 mt of PMV Goonyella at $189/mt CFR, and came with seller’s option to deliver Peak Downs North, Riverside or Goonyella C with March laycan.
