CsX reaches eight-month low; most PrB front-month trades since November 2018

Houston—Little activity was reported in the physical US over-the- counter thermal coal market Thursday, following two Powder River Basin trades Tuesday and Wednesday and financial PRB activity. Thursday was the first time in five sessions where no bids, offers or trades were reported for the PRB market. To date, four trains of PRB 8,800 Btu/lb coal has traded for April front-month, the largest number of trains traded for the prompt month six traded for November.
