Electronic and Steric Effects of Cyclic Amino Substituents of Luciferin Analogues on a Firefly Luciferin-Luciferase Reaction

摘要

Bioluminescent and spectroscopic properties of luciferin analogues with cyclic amino substituents (1-pyrrolidinyl, piperidino, 1-azepanyl, and morpholino groups) at the 6' position were investigated by comparing with those of 6'-dimethylaminoluciferin, to provide information on spatial and molecular environmental properties of the active site in Photinus pyralis luciferase.
