Basic chemical shares rose 2.5%, diversified shares increased 0.6%, and specialty stocks were up 0.3%. Ag shares fell 0.7%, while industrial gases shares were up 1.4%. Cambrex, which posted the biggest gain for the week at 14.3%, saw its shares spike after the announcing spectacular third-quarter results. EBITDA for the company increased 29% year on year (YOY) to $33.3 million for the quarter, while net income rose 13% YOY to $112.6 million.
