The CW75 index increased 2.9% for the week ended 24 January, outpacing both the S&P 500, which was up 0.5%, and the MSCI World Index, which was down 0.1%. Basic chemical shares increased 4.3%, diversifed shares rose 3.4% and specialty stocks were up 1.8 %. Ag shares were up 3.0%, while gases stocks rose 0.7%.
