Yara to close technical ammonium nitrate plant in France

Yara International is considering the closure of its technical ammo- nium nitrate (TAN) producton plant at Pardies, France, and—at the same time—seeking buyers interested in taking over the plant's activities, the company said in a statement issued on Wednesday. Yara's Pardies plant has a production capacity for about 100,000 met- ric tons/year of TAN and employs 85. The site would cease production in October 2018 at the latest, the reports add.
