Vietnam begins commercial production at $9-billion refinery, aromatics complex

Nghi Son Refnery and Petrochemical (NSRP), a joint venture in which Idemitsu Kosan and Kuwait Petroleum each hold 35.1%, PetroVietnam 25.1% and Mitsui Chemicals 4.7%, has announced the start of commercial operations at its $9-billion refnery and petrochemical complex on 14 November. The complex is located at Tinh Gia District, Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam.
