Freight costs to take a barge along Europe's key waterway have plateaued this week as the dire situation of the Rhine River water levels almost halted any trading activity, market sources tell OPIS. Trading of small clips out of the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) hub for the main oil products, such as diesel and gasoline, transported along the river has plummeted over the past few weeks.
