Gujarat Alkalies commissions H2 O2 plant at Dahej, India

Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd. (GACL; Vadodara, India) has commissioned a hydrogen peroxide (H2 O2 ) plant at Dahej, India. The 14,000-metric tons/year plant was built at a cost of 1.43 billion Indian rupees ($19.7 million). The company estimates that it will earn an additional revenue of Rs700 million from the new plant, which increases GACL’s total capacity for H2 O2 to 54,000 metric tons/year. GACL operates one plant at Vadodara and three at Dahej.
