Lanxess reports a 45.4% rise in third-quarter net income to €80 million ($90.1 million). The company says that in the year-earlier quarter net income was affected by exceptional charges relating to the consolidation of its production network. Revenue in the third quarter rose 4.4% to €1.79 billion and EBITDA pre exceptionals was up 1.5% to €277 million.
