Linde reports an operating profit of €1.13 billion ($1.32 billion) in the second quarter of 2018, an increase of 3.3% year over year (YOY), or 8.4% after adjusting for foreign currency and other effects. EBIT jumped by 31.4% in the second quarter of 2017 to €623 million in the latest quarter. Before special items, EBIT rose by 8.3% YOY to €664 million. Revenue in the second quarter was €4.46 billion, an increase of 1.1% YOY, of 8% after adjusting for exchange rates.
