Advanced Petrochemical signs JV to build PP plant in South Korea

Advanced Petrochemical Co., a Saudi producer of propylene and polypropylene (PP), has signed a joint venture (JV) agreement with PolyMirae, an alliance between LyondellBasell and Daelim, to build a PP plant in South Korea, Advanced said in a regulatory fling on Sunday. The total investment cost is estimated to be approximately $420 mil- lion.
