Toyo Engineering secures EPC contract from Chandra Asri for butene-1, MTBE project in Indonesia

Chandra Asri (Jakarta, Indonesia) announced that it has awarded Toyo Engineering and its Indonesian subsidiary Inti Karya Persada Tehnik (IKPT) an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract at Chandra Asri's petrochemical complex at Cilegon, Indonesia. The project involves the construction of a butene-1 production unit with a capacity of 43,000 metric tons/year and a methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) production unit with capacity for 127,000 metric tons/year, as well as an enclosed ground fare with a capacity of 220 metric tons/ hour.
