US ethylene spot price levels tumbled further on Friday, 6 April, with prompt month spot trading below 15 cents/lb for the first time since 2002. Two trades were completed at the Mont Belvieu-Nova (Texas) hub during the afternoon at 14.25 cents/lb ($314/metric ton), a decline of 3.25 cents/lb from the beginning of the week and over 13 cents/lb since the beginning of the year.
