Alberta plans second round to petrchems diversification program

The government of Alberta is planning a second round to its existing petrochemical diversification program. If passed, the Energy Diversification Act would also establish a 'Feedstock Infrastructure Initiative' to help deliver the natural gas components needed for more private investment in value-added development, the provincial government says. The government would also initiate a Partial Upgrading Program, as announced on 26 February.
