Evonik to expand PMMA compounding capacity at US site

Evonik Industries will begin constructing an additional polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) compounding line at its site at Osceola, Arkansas, early this year. The new line will serve for compounding the company's trademarked Acrylite product. Completion and start-up of the new compounding line is scheduled for the first quarter of 2019. Evonik has not disclosed how much it is investing in the expansion.
