Manus Bio raises $75 million

Biobased products firm Manus Bio(Cambridge,Massachusetts)announced today that it has raised $75 million in a series B financing.Funds will be used to expand the company's Augusta,Georgia,manufacturing facility and bring new products in its pipeline to commercialization.The round was led by a new strategic partner,BBGI Public Company Limited(BBGI;Bangkok,Thailand),a manufacturer and distributor of biobased products.Other participants include new and existing investors."We believe that Manus Bio has unique capabilities to bring product innovation to the marketplace through their efficient and sustainable fermentation technology.
