Industry urges state, local oficials to adhere to DHS critical infrastructure order

ACC on Wednesday joined more than 100 other business and trade associations in pressing elected ofcials at all levels of government to uniformly adhere to the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) list of essential critical infrastructure to remain operational amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The DHS list, published late last week, includes manufacturers of chemicals and industrial gases, as well as workers supporting laboratories, distribution, packaging, and maintenance activities along the supply chain.
