Ethane production in the US is forecast to top 2 million b/d by the last quarter of 2020, nearly 9% higher than the 1.92 million b/d reported for the frst quarter of this year, according to the Energy Information Administration (EIA). Ethane output will then continue to grow through 2021, reaching nearly 2.27 million b/d by the last quarter of next year, which would be 18% higher than the frst quarter of 2020, it says.
