Oxea puts n-propanol on sales control

Oxea has put n-propanol and n-propyl acetate on 100% sales control for the second quarter, citing recent strong demand growth into both printing and disinfectant applications as well as “logistics issues and service related to the COVID-19 [coronavirus disease 2019] stay-at-home orders.” Allocations will be based on average monthly consumption over the last six months or as contracts allow. N-propanol is manufactured by the hydrogenation of propionaldehyde, an ethylene derivative.
