Yara’s big capex program delivers major new capacity

Yara International has made signifcant investments over the last three years, including large capital expenditure (capex) projects, many of which are now coming onstream. They consist of new plants and expansions of existing units. Including M&A, investments have totaled $3 billion. “Our focus in 2019 will be on capturing full value potential by fnalizing and achieving full operability of existing projects,” said Tove Andersen, executive vice president/production at Yara, at the company’s capital markets day, held recently in London, UK.
