DSM files for EU authorization of dairy cow feed additive

DSM has moved a step closer to commercializing a breakthrough technology for a new feed additive for dairy cows that the company says will cut methane emissions and signifcantly reduce the environmental footprint of milk and dairy products. DSM has commenced fling for EU authorization of the new additive, which will be available in Europe as soon as EU authorization is granted, with a launch in the region anticipated in the late 2020/early 2021-time frame. Registrations in other regions will follow.
