DowDuPont completes spin-of of Dow

DowDuPont has completed the spin-of of its Dow materials science business. Dow begins regular trading 2 April on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “DOW.” DowDuPont common stockholders received one share of common stock of Dow for every three shares of DowDuPont common stock held at the close of business on 21 March. “The changes we have made to Dow’s portfolio, cost structure, and mindset are signifcant,” said Jim Fitterling, Dow CEO. “Dow is well positioned to achieve our ambition of becoming the most innovative, customer-centric, inclusive, and sustainable materials science company. We have all the tools in place to innovate more quickly, to operate more productively, and to invest more prudently.”
