Eni and SABIC sign agreement to develop natural gas-to-fuels and chemicals technology

Eni (Rome) and SABIC last week signed a joint agreement to develop an innovative technology to convert natural gas into synthesis gas (syngas) that will, in turn, be transformed into high value fuels and chemicals, such as methanol. The agreement includes the construction of an industrial demonstration plant that will be built and operated at an Eni facility.
