Former Braskem CEO arrested

Jose Carlos Grubisich, the former CEO of Braskem, was arrested on Wednesday at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport on charges that he took part in a scheme to pay millions of dollars in bribes to ofcials to secure government contracts. Grubisich was charged with conspiracy to violate a US foreign corruption law and with a money laundering conspiracy in a federal court in Brooklyn.
