K+S plans partial sale or an IPO of North American operations

K+S (Kassel, Germany) is planning partial divestment or an initial public ofering (IPO) of its North American activities to reduce debt, according to CEO Burkhard Lohr. The company says that despite progress made in implementing its 2030 strategy, the current difcult external conditions are hampering the achievement of its fnancial targets. “K+S has therefore developed a package of measures to crystallize value rapidly,” the company said on Tuesday.
