Nippon Paint (Osaka, Japan) announced that it has acquired around 95.5% shares of paint manufacturer Betek Boya ve Kimya Sanayi (Istanbul, Turkey). Nippon says that the acquisition price has not been finalized and plans to disclose the price upon completion of the transaction. The deal is expected to be closed by the end of June this year.
