Borregaard hikes biobased vanillin capacity in Norway

Borregaard (Sarpsborg, Norway) is to increase biobased vanillin production capacity at its Sarbsborg, Norway, site. The company will spend 130 million Norwegian krone ($15.1 million) to debottleneck the existing plant. Construction will start during the second half of 2019 with completion planned in the frst half of 2021.
