ECHA concludes restrictions on DMF, siloxanes

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has announced that its Committee for Socio-economic Analysis (SEAC) has adopted its opinion on a restriction proposal on N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) and the Committee for Risk Assessment (RAC) adopted its opinion on a restriction proposal on the siloxanes D4, D5, D6. The SEAC adopted its fnal opinion on the restriction proposal by Italy to restrict the use of the DMF on its own or in mixtures at a concentration equal to or greater than 0.3% weight by weight.
