The week under review saw prices of chemicals like vinyl acetate, mixed xylene cyclohexane and acrylonitrile moving up from previously reported levels, while octanol, butyl acetate, cyclohexanone and styrene monomer ruled lower. Toluene (RIL) was up by Rs. 3.50 quoted at Rs. 50 (basic) in bulk. Toluene (BPCL) was steady at Rs. 45.65 (basic) in bulk, while for barrels it was ruling at Rs. 65 (basic). Benzene (RIL) was steady at Rs. 55 (basic), while BPCL's benzene was available at Rs. 52.25.
