Stable bleaching powder is dearer; Titanium dioxide also on an uptrend

Stable bleaching powder rose by Rs. 50 to Rs. 550 per 25 kg on negligible arrival in the Delhi chemicals market during the week under review. Titanium dioxide (ana-tase and rutile) were seen on the uptrend as the booking rate for imports increased. Sodium bicarbonate, however, softened by Rs. 50 to Rs. 1J00 per 50 kg owing to improved supply. Mentha oil and Menthol (crystal bold) soared by Rs. 55/80 to Rs. 1,425 and Rs. 1,760 per kg owing to bullish cues from UP's markets.
