A. Badia et al have worked on water-born and PSA with bio-based contents up to 72% and with adhesive performance comparable to pure oil-based formulations. 2-Octyl acrylate and isobornyl metha-crylate derived from castor oil and pine resin, respectively, were copolymerized by emulsion polymerization and microstruc-ture could be fine-tuned. Adhesiveness and cohesiveness was realized. (Ind. Eng. Chem. Res., 2018,57,14509-14516).
