Nova Chemicals,the Canada based supplier of polyethylene products,has assumed most sales and marketing functions in the Americas for Bayport Polymers.Bayport Polymers is the 50:50 joint venture owned by France's Total and Novealis Holdings-a joint venture of Borealis and Nova Chemicals.The sales and marketing arrangement now assumed by Nova Chemicals was foreseen under the joint venture agreements.
