The northern winter is in retreat, temperatures are heating up, and demand for polyethylene terephtha-late (PET) bottle resin is rising to its usual annual high. With feedstock values weakening, however, PET prices have taken a turn downward, and demand has softened somewhat as buyers step back in anticipation of better deals.
