Reliance Industries is continuing talks with Saudi Aramco to form an oil-to-chemicals (02C) partnership, despite an apparent lack of progress as Aramco concentrated on completing a deal to acquire a majority stake in Sabic. Analysts said in April that the collapse in the price of crude oil had increased the risk that the $15-billion deal for Aramco to acquire a 20% stake in Reliance Industries's 02C division might not go through.
